~Alot of the time I cook from scratch
~I can wash up, make breakfast and make lunch boxes all at once!
I've recently been enjoying making my own pizza, I had been using the normal method of flour water yeast oil sugar until.................
We most definitely made the most of all the glorious sun that came to stay last week.
Sun just makes everything better doesn't it!
The best part of all the time we enjoyed outside was how tidy the house stayed..... This morning it's abit gloomy & I've already stood on Lego twice OUCH!!!
Myself and Iain started off the week by taking the dogs for a nice 3 1/2 mile walk before the sun got too hot for them- it was a lovely chilled way to start the week & I came back with a slight pink tinge to my shoulders!
Midweek BBQ tea time was just what the doctor ordered, I didn't have to work that evening so I took control of the barbie. It was a nice relaxing evening instead of the usual rush.
We ended our week watching Harry in his first sports day, he was so chuffed as his team the Weavers won!
Rocky has been loving a bit of sunbathing
I really enjoy looking at the clouds & it's one of my favourite things to photograph am I the only one?!
I'm always thinking have myself and Iain done things the right way, in life I mean.
You know the whole have a house together, get married and then have babies.
We definitely haven't done things that way, we have lived together almost as long as we have been together (8 years) have two children and were not even close to being engaged!
Maybe I just think about it more now that its all in place as we never had a set plan for the way we wanted our lives to go.
We really like the fact we had our boys whilst we were still young, we can enjoy them and the things they do and when the time comes for them to be independent we can go off and have our own fun. Don't get me wrong we do things for ourselves occasionally, normally a cinema date night but we'd like to do some travelling, actually see some different places as we've never been abroad together!
I suppose its horses for courses and not one situation will suit all.
It would be my dream to have our own home, but that's still way off in the future.

In a weeks time my baby boy turns 5.
This year he requested a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Bumblebee from Transformers cake!!
I love making the boys birthday cakes, or any cake for an occasion..... who am I kidding cake anytime is fine by me! The look on their face when they see the finished product is the best bit for me especially when they recognise who I've created in cake or fondant form!
