Our Fake away Chinese meal.
We love a take away, everyone likes a take away every now and then! (I just like the thought of not having to stand at the cooker). Dont get me wrong I do love cooking but everyone likes a night off.
If your anything like us you order too much can't finish what's on your plate and just feel a little disappointed once you've eaten :/ .
I've found the answer to all our take away prayers well Chinese ones anyway!

Would you like to know how I make this?
I don't think a day goes by when I don't take a picture of some sort!!
So when PicStick approached me asking if I'd like to create my own personalised picture magnets I jumped at the chance.
The process was so easy. Photos can be uploaded straight from your computer, Mobile, Facebook or Dropbox.
The magnets can be ordered in sets of 9 for £9.50, with free shipping and fast delivery.
Get 25% off when you order here using the code DAY25.
Although the uploading process was easy and I think that the price is very reasonable, I wasn't 100% happy with my order.
A couple of the pictures have come out very dark and almost unrecognisable unless your very close to them, I think this may be because the original pictures have a darkish background compared to our family snaps with a white backdrop. If there was an indicator on the website when ordering to show that these pictures may have come out dark/blurry or not as the original it would of been helpful and I could have had 9 images I was fully happy with.
I'm not saying it has stopped me from using the website again or purchasing more magnets sheets from them, I'll just be more cautious when choosing my images!

Do you ever find yourself looking for new ideas to help the kids to clear their plates at meal times?
I know I have on more than one occasion. Getting your kids involved in making a meal will really help to spark their enthusiasm with it.
Here is one idea that made Harry clear his plate and gave Mummy a smile on her face.
It was by no means anything spectacular but it was a massive hit that has graced his plate many times now.
All it took was three simple ingredients a cookie cutter and some mummy imagination!

I found the Baking Tag whilst watching Sophie and Lilly on YouTube, Sophie has created a tag where every week a YouTuber picks an ingredient which must become either the 'star of the show' or a small part of a recipe.
The first ingredient is Chocolate so of course I'm going to include my VERY chocolaty Rocky Road.
Looking forward to hear what the ingredient for next week is.
What would you make including chocolate?

Over the weekend I had a major urge to make some sweet treats, so I started off with something simple first.
Rocky Road fridge cake, who can say no to this chocolaty treat.
It only needs a few store cupboard ingredients and then you can pimp it up with what ever you fancy!
- Melt 125g butter and 300g chocolate (I used a mix of milk & dark)
- Add 3tbs golden syrup
- Then mix in 200g crushed up biscuits (I used digestives) and 100g marshmallows (either mini ones or cut up large marshmallows)
- This time I added a handful of white chocolate buttons, chopped up milky way bars and some of my favourite Terry's chocolate orange!
- Combine until all ingredients are covered in the melted chocolate and press into a 9" square tin
- Chill for a couple of hours and cut however you wish!
- ENJOY
I've included the recipe in the Baking Tag on YouTube.

As I write this my not so little man is strutting around the house modelling his new school uniform. In '1 sleeps time' he will setting of on a new adventure his first day of Primary School.
A few weeks before he finished pre-school we had a letter from his new teacher explaining some details for the start of term & at the bottom of the letter it stated 'All items of school clothing must be named... Including socks'.
Well all I can say to this is thank god for The Name Label Company.
I received a large pack of mixed labels plenty enough to label every piece of Harrys school clothing, shoes and even his water bottle.
I received a large pack of mixed labels plenty enough to label every piece of Harrys school clothing, shoes and even his water bottle.
The labels arrived with an excellent instructions for use guide with handy top tips.
The instructions were easy and clear to follow which made attaching the many labels all the more easier!
It takes just 3 easy steps:
Remove the label from the backing sheet & place on to the clothing
With the iron on wool setting hold flat on the label for 10-15 seconds
Remove the iron and leave to cool
The shoe labels come printed in a foot shape! Which is fab because it will help Harry to put his shoes on the right feet (hopefully!) They also come with a clear laminate patch to place over the label to help protect it from wear.
I then used the stick on vinyl labels for Harry's water bottle, he'll also have one on his lunchbox when he starts full days in a few weeks time.
These labels are dishwasher, microwave and steriliser proof so fab for all the family!
All of the labels I was sent to review were very easy to attach and made from great quality material.
I will say wait for your iron to fully heat up before you start applying the labels as when I took the jumpers out of the washing machine the labels and disappeared. These were the first items I put the labels onto so can only think I didn't have the iron quite hot enough .
All labels purchased include;
Free & fast UK delivery
Lifetime guarantee (excluding stick ons)
A choice of 3 font types & 7 colours to personalise your design
Many images to chose from to add to your name label including allergy signs (allergy nut, allergy dairy etc)
The Name Label Company also offers blank labels to cover existing labels when clothes are passed on or sent to a charity shop.
You can also raise funds for your School/PTA, Nursery, Club or Charity. Contact the lovely folk at The Name Label Company and they will send you a unique voucher code. Each time the code is used at their checkout your chosen group will receive 20% of the total order (at the end of each month the total raised will be sent by cheque).
I'm very happy with the labels I received and will defiantly be making more orders in the future.
